Children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)EYFS Guidance
At Reddish Vale Nursery School, we are dedicated to working positively with every child and family that joins our community. Our experienced team includes a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) who is committed to ensuring the best possible support for all children.
If your child already has an identified special need, we work closely with you to understand and meet this need within our school environment. We will collaborate with any existing plans and support you have in place to ensure a smooth transition for your child into our nursery.
We understand that every child is unique, and if you have any concerns about your child's development, we encourage you to talk to us as soon as possible. We will actively monitor and assess your child as they settle in, maintaining close communication with you throughout. If needed, we can assist with referrals or help you access additional SEND support services.
Our support services may include speech and language therapy, personalised healthcare plans, and access to various specialist services. We are dedicated to creating an environment where every child, regardless of their needs, can thrive and achieve their full potential.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to Reddish Vale Nursery School, where we are committed to nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning community.
